On February 28, 2007 around 1:25PM an 80 year old female was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of the Foodlion Store located at 5200 S. Croatan Hwy--the Outer Banks Mall location. The person operating the vehicle that struck this subject did stop and has cooperated in the investigation. If anyone witnessed this accident please contact the Nags Head Police Department at 252-441-6386.

(1) On April 27, 2007 a larceny was reported at Slamin Sammy's Restaurant. A female subject that was at the bar left her purse unattended for a short period of time and when she returned the purse was gone. The purse was later located in the restaurant but $1550.00 in cash had been removed.

(2) On April 29, 2007 a B/E/L was reported in the 3900 Block of Va. Dare Trail. Unknown suspect(s) entered a storage shed on the property of Kitty Hawk Kites and removed a Stihl brand leaf blower, hedge trimmer, and weed eater.

(3) On April 7, 2007 ten reports were filed for damage to property in the West Villa Dunes Drive area. Suspect(s) damaged and destroyed ten mailboxes in this area causing approx. $300.00 in damage.

(4) On April 4, 2007 a larceny was reported at a construction site located at 8709 East Caribsea Street in South Nags Head. A 12 X 24 aluminum walk board was taken from the residence sometime on the evening of April 3rd or the early morning hours of April 4th

(5) On April 3, 2007a larceny was reported at a residence located in the 4900 block of Virginia Dare Trail. Sometime during the evening of April 2nd a mens Pugeot mountain bike was stolen from under the residence.

(6) On March 6, 2007 a B/E of a Residence was reported in the 500 Block of Hesperides Drive located in the Nags Head Cove subdivision. Between March 3 and March 6 an unknown suspect kicked in a door and entered the residence. Nothing was reported missing from home.

(7) On March 6, 2007 an attempted B/E of a vehicle was reported in the parking lot of Seamark Foods--Outer Banks Mall. A white male was observed attempting to gain entry into a vehicle and once he was spotted he left the area in a gray truck that was operated by a white female.The vehicle license information is not known.

(8) On January 9, 2007 a larceny of a vehicle was reported in the 200 Block of Windjammer Road located in the North Ridge Subdivision. Unknown suspect(s) stole a 2002 Dodge truck that was later recovered on Sandpiper Drive in Colington Harbor .

(9) On January 9, 2007a breaking and entering of a vehicle was reported in the 200 Block of Windjammer Road located in the North Ridge Subdivision. Unknown suspect(s) entered a vehicle and removed a small amount of money.

(10) On January 6, 2007 two reports were filed for breaking and entering of vehicles in the parking lot of the Nags Head Bowling Center . Unknown suspect(s) entered the vehicles and removed an I-Pod Nano with a FM transmitter, a tripod for a camera, two pairs of sunglasses and a Samsung brand cell phone.
